Our wine barrel coffee tables are two-in-one! During the holiday season, wrap your wine barrel tree collar around your Christmas tree for a unique and eye-catching finish, and during the rest of the year, display your beautiful tree collar as a coffee table or side table!
Authentic reclaimed red wine barrels are carefully cut and hand-sanded to a smooth finish prior to sealing with multiple coats of indoor polyurethane. The polyurethane finish brings out the red wine stains and protects the natural beauty of the barrel. Heavy duty hinges and spring loaded clasps allow the tree collar to be opened and placed around the tree base and then re-secured. The inside of the barrel tree collar features the rich red staining absorbed by the oak staves during the wine aging process. All items are unique due to the variability in barrels and may show extra wine staining and/or blemishes and imperfections from the wine making process, all of which add unique character to each piece! No two pieces will be exactly alike.
The base of the wine barrel tree collar has an outer diameter of approximately 27" (25" inner diameter). The top of the wine barrel tree collar has an outer diameter of approximately 24" (22" inner). The tree collar is approximately 12.5” tall and weighs approximately 30 pounds. Actual dimensions may vary slightly depending on the specific barrel used. The barrel tree collar is intended for indoor use only.
The stands are 27-1/4” wide and long with an internal width and depth of 27” (where the tree collar sits). The stand has been sized to account for the small variations in sizes among the tree collars; therefore, we'll include a few strips of self-adhesive black foam for the collars to sit on in the stand, which helps keep the collar from moving left to right. It will raise the tree collar 5” off the ground for an overall height (with the glass top) of approximately 27-28”, which is the standard coffee table height. The stand has adjustable leveling feet which can add up to an additional ¼” of height. The glass top is 30” round and ½” think with a 1” bevel around the edge. Six self-adhesive clear rubber bumpers are provided to place on the top rim of tree collar for the glass to sit on.
Personalization: Custom laser engraving is available for your tree collar! The standard personalization is as shown in the listing photos with "The [last name, plural]" and "EST. [year]". If choosing the standard personalization, please let us know the name (exactly as you want it engraved after "The", including the "s" or "es" to make it plural) and year to engrave. For custom designs, choose custom personalization and let us know what you would like to have engraved on the tree collar! We can do names, logos, clipart, GPS coordinates, quotes, etc. The engraving can be up to 8" wide and 5" tall.
